Guevarra Memoria gets going at Wack Wack

MANILA, Philippines - The10th Domingo M. Guevara Sr. Memorial Golf Tournament – originally scheduled last January 8 but was postponed due to an unexpected labor strike at the Wack Wack Golf And Country Club – will be held today at the same venue.

Tournament director Benjamin Guevara said the labor issues staged by WWGCC employees on the eve of the original date was amicably settled.

Guevara added that three brand-new cars – donated by Toyota Pasong Tamo, Kia Motors and CATS Inc. – are at stake as hole-in-one prizes in three designated holes.

An additional two P100,000 cash prizes each donated by Guevent Insurance Broker Co. and Empire Insurance Corp., P50,000 cash prize donated by Alex Prieto and a brand-new Ping Eye golf set from UCPB Insurance also await the participant who will score a hole-in-one. 

Other donors are Guevent Industrial Development Corp., Kong Wheels, G&S Transport, Honeycomb Builders, Marie France, Svenson Facial Care, The Plaza, Radiowealth Finance, Dusit Hotel, Holland Blooms, Stradcom, Rebisco Biscuit, Ben’s Burjer and Central Printing Services.
