De Jesus tops ABC fun tourney

MANILA, Philippines - Nonoy de Jesus of Philflex Wires and Cables scored with 1375 pinfalls to rule the Architects Bowling Club’s singles fun games at the Green Valley Bowling Center in Pasig last week.

Walter Villanueva of Crown Pipes came in second with 1355 followed by Benny Tan of Atlanta Industries with 1308 and Dante Manglicmot of Emerald Vinyl with 1290 in that order.

Meanwhile, ABC president Noel del Rosario is inviting all licensed architects to join the event, sponsored by Boysen and Nation Paints, every Tuesday as ABC gears up for its 33rd anniversary celebrations.

The tournament, backed by Supreme Steel Pipes Corp., ABC Phils., Pro Active Pest Control, Stone 2000, Toto, Hocheng Phils. and Firefly-Royu, resumes at 7 tonight with the singles event and a bowling clinic to be conducted by national team members, headed by Liza del Rosario and Biboy Rivera, also at the Green Valley lanes.
