Animo stakes race, poker up at SLLP

MANILA, Philippines - The La Salle Greenhills Batch 85 Berde Brothers, in partnership with the Manila Jockey Club, will stage the second Animo stakes race and celebrity poker tournament on Sunday at the San Lazaro Leisure Park in Carmona, Cavite.

Organized by LSGH Batch 85 as part of a series of events to commemorate its Silver Jubilee, the Animo stakes race and poker tournament will be held in one facility. Races start at 2 p.m. and the poker tournament begins at 3 p.m. P2,000 with Unlimited Re-Buys until the fourth level at P1,000 with guaranteed P120,000 at the last table.

The events are part of the fellowship and festivities leading up to the LSGH Grand Alumni Homecoming and the culmination of LSGH’s 50th Year celebration on Feb. 6.

The second Animo Stakes Race and Celebrity Poker Tournament is sponsored by Philracom, Burlington, Coca-Cola, Pagcor Tagaytay and The Philippine STAR. The event is in support of the various fund-raising projects of LSGH Batch 85 for the benefit of Berde Brothers Corp.
