NCA world derby tomorrow
MANILA, Philippines - The National Cockers Alliance (NCA) stages its season-opening derby, the World Championship, beginning tomorrow at the Ynares Sports Arena in Pasig.
Heading the cast in the three-day event, which features top Filipino and American gamefowl aficionados, are Manolo Lopez, Vice Mayor Nestor Mercado, Lito Orillaza, Ricky Valencia, Philip Chiongbian, Capt. Goto, Sen. Bong Revilla, Gov. Chavit Singson, Bong Pineda, Manny Co, Boyet Joson, Boy Jiao, Ramon Manzanares, Jojo Cruz, Ricky Reyes, Gov. Amante, Magno Lim, Rey Briones, Butch Uy and Bebot Roxas.
Leading the US contingent are George Torres, Romy Arciaga, Rene Medina, Barletta, Tom Wilson and Boyd and Allen Gambrel.
The derby will have its semifinals on Jan. 14 and the finals on Jan. 16.
