Corteza resumes quest in World Tour

MANILA, Philippines - Lee Van Corteza hopes to sustain his form as he competes in the fourth National Pool Championship on the Predator World Tour slated Jan. 6-9 at the Lloret de Mar in Girona, Spain.

Corteza nipped reigning Predator 10-Ball champion Dennis Orcollo, 9-7, in the semis then trounced Rodrigo Geronimo, 11-6, to become the first player to score a title repeat in the Predator 10-Ball at the Star Billiards Center in Grace Village, Quezon City.

The Davao City native also won the Derby City Classic 10-Ball Challenge while finishing runner-up in the World 10-Ball Championship and the Derby City Classic 9-Ball Challenge. He also placed third in the World Mixed Doubles and came in fourth in the US Open 9-Ball Championship.
