Castro, Santos head EEI Cup winners

MANILA, Philippines - Fernando Castro and Sonny Santos captured the top two honors in the EEI Chairman’s Cup golf tournament, winning the low gross and net crowns, respectively, at the Eagle Ridge Golf and Country Club in Cavite recently.

Dante Desembrana took the Class A plum in the club members category with Sammy Lazo and Gene de Jesus placing second and third, respectively.

Ferdinand Apolonio copped the Class B title with Antonio Pascua second and Hermino Ander third.

Noel Gonzales and Pol Garcia, meanwhile, won the nearest-to-the-pin and most accurate drive honors.

Rommel Ramos ruled Class C, followed by Fidel Dacquel (second) and Jose Lucio Mendoza (third).

Joey Solis led the winners in the guest division, topping Class A with Cesar Seguban second and Porfirio Flores third.

Ruben Bearis took the Class B diadem with David Ritchie and Chito Medina-Cue finishing second and third, respectively, while Mario Ray Morales lorded it over the field in Class C with Jack Tan second and Alvin Saringo third.
