Eagle Ridge Fore By Four under way

MANILA, Philippines - Members of the Eagle Ridge Golf and Country Club bring in their guest partners for the Fore By Four Invitational, a two-day competition showcasing the four championship courses of the country’s largest golf club in Gen. Trias, Cavite today and tomorrow.

There are 240 member-guest teams registered for the member-guest tournament at Eagle Ridge’s well-maintained 72-hole facility boasting of signature courses by Isao Aoki, Andy Dye, Nick Faldo and Greg Norman as well as three separate clubhouses.

The Fore By Four presented by Sta. Lucia Realty & Development Corp. and Alsons Land Corp. stakes millions in prizes including a lot in Rio de Oro subdivision and a brand-new Toyota Vios.

Apart from the Rio de Oro lot and Vios, which are being staked as a hole-in-one prize for both days on designated holes, all participants are also entitled to a raffle ticket that makes them eligible for the grand prize of another Vios unit, Toyota’s best-selling sedan, in tomorrow’s awarding ceremony.

This year’s sponsors are Rudy Project, Toyota Balintawak, LG Electronics, Pepsi Cola, Alsons Insurance, WG, Philippine Airlines, Aquadyne, PacSports, First Tee, Dynamic Sports, Wilson Sports, RizGolf, Philgreen, Microtel, Pest Neutralizer Corp., DMD Cool and Inquirer Golf.

Tee off for both days is 8 a.m, which ensures the same playing conditions for all participants.

Players in the men’s Class A and C will compete in the Norman and Dye courses while those in the Class B and D and ladies categories will tackle the Faldo and Aoki courses.
