Osmeña nips Lourdes, clinches 3-on-3 crown

MANILA, Philippines - JC Villarosa led all scorers with 10 points, as Sergio Osmeña High School outlasted Lourdes School of Mandaluyong, 18-16, to clinch the title in the inter-school competition of the Mayor Alfredo Lim 1st Inter-School and Inter-Barangay 3-on-3 Basketball Championship at the Dapitan Sports Complex over the weekend.

Osmeña High had earlier defeated E. Rondon High School, 16-9 in the crossover quarterfinals, before turning back Balingasa High School in the semis, 18-12, to arrange a championship match against Lourdes School, which beat St. Vincent 1 and 2 and sister team Lourdes School of Mandaluyong 2 to make it to the finals of the tournament jointly organized by the City of Manila and the Manila Sports Council.
