MANILA, Philippines - Fern-C, one of the leading vitamins in the country, has thrown its support to the Metro Manila Tiong Lian Basketball Association which opens shop on Jan. 9 next year at the Jacinto Tiu Court of Xavier School in San Juan City.
Tommanny Tan, president and CEO of the Filipino Entrepreneur Resources Network, Inc., recently agreed to back the premier high school league that produced past and present stars of RP basketball, including Lim Eng Beng, Atoy Co, Joseph Yeo, TY Tang and Chris Tiu of Smart-Gilas Philippine team.
“We’re happy to be part of the league because we share the same vision in promoting youth oriented sports program,” said Tan.
Also backing the league are Yakult, Outlast Battery, Rusty Lopez, Puma, Converse, Burlington, Freego Jeans, Davies Paint, MET Computer and Bow and Wow. Fern-C is also the official vitamin of the PBA.
Xavier School, this year’s host, is the defending champion in both the aspirants and juniors divisions.
