New Balance run draws 6,000 bets

MANILA, Philippines - A big field of 6,000 will vie in four events in the New Balance Power Run...Raising Hope which fires off tomorrow at the Fort Bonifacio Global City in Taguig City.

Events on tap are the 5k, 10k and 21k plus a 3k run/walk for cancer.

“The number of individuals who signed up for the event is overwhelming. We are very happy how runners are supporting our cause. The 6,000 participants who are taking part to raise hope for cancer is already an indication of how we will be able to successfully support the projects of our beneficiaries,” said Anton Gonzalez, president of Planet Sports, Inc.

The New Balance Power Run... Raising Hope will directly support cancer awareness projects of Carewell (Cancer Resource and Wellness Community), Philippine Cancer Society, ICanServe Foundation, and Natasha Goulbourn Foundation.
