MANILA, Philippines - Promising Ronnel Esparas gives boxing fans a glimpse of his skills as the fighter nicknamed `Tarver’ headlines tonight’s episode of Rod Nazario’s In This Corner over NBN-4 (7-p.m.).
Esparas, a southpaw, will be clashing with Jaypee Ignacio in the 10-round super-featherweight bout presented by Ginebra San Miguel, San Miguel Beer, Purefoods, Biogenic Isopropyl Alcohol, the Philippine Charity Sweepstakes Office (PCSO), GSIS and Petron.
The two fought at the BLISS compound gym in Alabang, Muntinlupa, during the Philippine welterweight title showdown between Ariel Tinampay and Dan Nazareno Jr.
Rod Nazario’s In This Corner co-sponsored the boxing card together with Muntinlupa city Mayor Aldrin San Pedro and D.S. Almario boxing promotions.
