Ultimate knockout challenge slated

MANILA, Philippines - Omega pain killer, in cooperation with Elorde Boxing Gym, PCSO and Del Monte Fit and Right, is holding the Ultimate Knockout Challenge Nov. 28, starting at 10 p.m., at the Elorde Sports Complex Grand Ballroom, Sucat Parañaque City.

The UKC: Bound For Glory series, now on its fifth year and organized by the Elorde Boxing Group, features non-professional and non-amateur boxers from the different Elorde gyms all over Metro Manila.

It allows student boxers to experience fighting in the ring, complete with gears, professional GAB referees and an audience to cheer them on. It also promotes camaraderie and sportsmanship among students and trainers alike. Spectators will get to see over 90 pre-qualified bouts, including a set of special bouts in mixed martial arts and muay thai.

Tickets are priced at P100 each.
