MANILA, Philippines - Boxing fans get to see the return of Ronald Pontillas in the ring as the RP super-bantamweight contender will be featured in tonight’s edition (7 p.m. to 8 p.m.) of Rod Nazario’s In This Corner over NBN-4.

A protégé of the Wild Card boxing gym in Parañaque, Pontillas goes up against Elmer Saligumba of the Robert Montemayor stable in Pasig City during the one-hour program presented by Ginebra San Miguel, San Miguel Beer, Purefoods, Biogenic Isopropyl Alcohol, the Philippine Charity Sweepstakes Office (PCSO), GSIS and Petron.

The fight was in the undercard of the recent Muntinlupa Slugfest held at the Filinvest Housing Covered Court in Alabang. sponsored by Mayor Aldrin San Pedro in cooperation with In This Corner and D.S. Almario Boxing Promotions, the boxing card is headlined by the title showdown between Ariel Tinampay and Dan Nazareno Jr. for the Philippine welterweight championship.
