MCC chessfest Nov. 7-8

MANILA, Philippines - The Metropolitan Chess Club announces the holding of an 1850 below standard chess tourney on Nov. 7-8 at the Lower 2F of St. Francis Square behind SM Megamall of Mandaluyong City.

The five-round Swiss event is open to all beginners, amateurs, unrated and rated players with standard NCFP ratings not over 1850.

The tournament will adopt two schedules: a two-day competition which will start at 12:30 p.m. on Nov. 7 and a one-day affair which will be held at 9:30 a.m. on Nov. 8.
