CSA belles trip DLS Zobel, enter quarters quarters in girls volley GVL

MANILA, Philippines - In a classic one-hour 25-minute match, Colegio San Agustin survived a closely contested three-setter against De La Salle Zobel Saturday, 15-25, 25-23, 25-23, and assured itself of a quarterfinals berth in the Shakey’s Girls’ Volleyball League.

De La Salle-Zobel’s twin towers, Lexie Tatlonhari and Pat Coronel, showed their dominance in the first set against a disorganized and helpless CSA team but veterans, Ingrid Reyes, Denise Lazaro, Ana Gopico and Jamie Morado dominated the last two sets to deny De La Salle-Zobel a slot in the quarterfinals.
