Milo SBP-Passerelle holds Visayas elims

MANILA, Philippines - The 2009 Milo-sponsored BEST Center Small Basketeers of the Philippines (SBP)-Passerelle will hold the Visayas regional finals from Oct. 23-25 at the Capiz Gym in Roxas City with top teams vying for the right to represent the region in the national championships.

Competing in the SBP division are Ateneo de Iloilo, Filamer Christian School of Roxas City, St. John Institute of Bacolod and University of San Carlos-South of Cebu.

In the Passerelle division, those seeing action are Iloilo Central Commercial High School, College of St. John of Roxas City, St. John Institute of Bacolod and Sacred Heart School – Jesuit of Cebu.

Now on its 24th season, the Milo-sponsored BEST Center SBP-Passerelle consistently showcases the top elementary and high school teams. It is held in line with the commitment of Milo to promote sports in the grassroots level and help build champions in sports and in life.
