Manila Slo-Pitch resumes weekend

MANILA, Philippines - The ENTOM-Manila-Slo-Pitch Softball League (MSSL) resumes Sunday at the Rosario Sports Complex with a five-game bill featuring Meralco against Calamba at 9:45 a.m.

Meralco will play an earlier game against Pera Padala (1-1), seeking its third straight victory after beating the same team and ENTOM (0-2) during the opening day of the league.

Calamba, the surprise team of the tournament, is tied with Meralco on top on similar two victories hacked out over defending champion Cebuana Lhuillier and BYOB-La Salle. Cebuana Lhuillier will have its rematch with Calamba this Sunday in the fourth game.

 The other remaining games will see Pera Padala against ENTOM and Cebuana Lhuillier against ENTOM.

The event is also supported by Cebuana Lhuillier, Pera Padala, and Le Soleil de Boracay.
