Racasa, Abrina in memory tilt

MANILA, Philippines - Roberto Racasa and Johan Randall Abrina will represent the Philippines in the World Memory Championship slated in August next year in Guangzhou, China.

Racasa, a former top board player of Polytechnic University of the Philippines’ chess team, and Abrina will compete in the annual competition instituted to challenge the limits of human memory consisting of 10 events like binary digits (5 minutes/30 min.), numbers (5/30 min), spoken numbers, speed cards, cards (10/30min/1 hour), random words, historic/future dates, names and faces, abstract images and, memorization of new poems.
