Talabucon, Lim top ABC quarterly

MANILA, Philippines - Loret Talabucon of Sika Phils. rolled an eight-game series of 1834 to capture the Group 1 crown while Jonathan Lim of Crown Pipes bagged the Group 2 title with 1444 in the Architects Bowling Club’s quarterly championship at the Green Valley lanes last week.

Ryan Jalandoon of Emerald Vinyl made 1801, Romi de Jesus of Boysen Paints had 1795 while Manny Padit of Philflex Wires and Cables came up with 1777 to finish second, third and fourth, respectively, in Group 1 of the weekly event sponsored by Boysen and Nation Paints.

Sonny Esguerra of Stone 2000 scored 1423, Joen Mejia of Toto turned in a 1419 and Tony Naval of Firefly-Royu made 1418 to place second, third and fourth, respectively, in Group 2.

Meanwhile, action in the event, backed by Supreme Steel Pipes Corp., ABC Phils., ProActive Pest Control, Atlanta Industries, Hocheng Phils. and Lepanto Tiles, resumes at 6:30 tonight with the staging of fun games and third quarterly awards night at the Buma Club and Restaurant, Tiendesitas, C-5 Road, Pasig City.
