PBL's Pharex leaves for Malaysia

MANILA, Philippines - As part of its preparation for the coming PBL season, Pharex is leaving today for Kuala Lumpur, Malaysia to see action in the second Malaysia international basketball tournament.

Out to sustain their momentum following an impressive runner-up finish in the last conference of the PBL, the Bidang Generix of Pascual Laboratories are using the tournament to toughen up for the PBL wars.

Aside from Pharex, also taking part in the week-long tournament are China, Taiwan, Hong Kong, Scotland and the host country.

Expected to lead the Carlo Tan-mentored Pharex are James Mangahas, Jayr Gerilla, Raymond Aguilar, Ian Mazo, Mike Galinato and Kojak Meligrito.

Other members of the team are Anthony Espiritu, Fritz Bauzon, Jeric Canada and Marc Canlas. Jean Alabanza is the head of delegation.
