Chiefs end NC stint vs Generals

MANILA, Philippines - While the Final Four teams brace for crucial games for the twice-to-beat incentives, the ousted teams take the spotlight today at resumption of the NCAA men’s basketball tournament at The Arena in San Juan City.

Guest teams Arellano U and Emilio Aguinaldo clash at 2 p.m. while another guest squad Angeles U Foundation takes on Perpetual Help at 4 p.m.

Among the four, Arellano will finish the highest with an 8-9 (win-loss) slate.

 regardless of its last elimination round match against EAC, which is currently tied with idle St. Benilde at sixth with 5-11 records.

Perpetual Help is second to the last with a 3-13 mark while AUF is in 10th with a 1-16 mark.

Meanwhile, San Sebastian (15-1), San Beda (15-2) and (14-2) are gearing up for matches among themselves in their spirited battle for the top two spots in the Final Four with Letran (12-6) settling for the No. 4 spot.
