Tiongson bags ABC all-events plum

MANILA, Philippines - Jed Tiongson of Stone 2000 scored 1375 pinfalls to beat Toto’s Denis Jalandoon (1317) and cop the Architects Bowling Club’s circuit and all-events singles one-group crown at the Green Valley Lanes in Pasig City last week.

Hermie Prudente of ProActive Pest Control rolled 1297, Manny Padit of Philflex Wires and Cables scored 1293 and Boyet Libiran of Emerald Vinyl had 1263 to finish third, fourth and fifth, respectively, in the weekly event sponsored by Boysen and Nation Paints.

Meanwhile, action in the event, backed by Firefly Royu Lightings, Sika Phils., Lepanto Tiles, Hocheng Phils., Atlanta Tiles, ABC Phils., Supreme Steel Pipes Corp. and Crown Pipes, resumes at 7 tonight with the staging of the doubles, President and Sponsor’s Cup, also at the Green Valley lanes.
