Patriots reach volley finals

MANILA, Philippines - La Salle-Dasmarinas posted big victories yesterday to advance to the finals of the eighth Universities and Colleges Athletic Association (UCAA) volleyball tournament at the Emilio Aguinaldo College Sports Complex in Manila.

The Patriots held off the Olivarez College Sea Lions, 25-22, 25-7, 25-21, to clinch the first berth in the finals in the men’s division.

Hamid Hamansa, Paul Gil and Edison Sundiam starred for the Patriots, who had little trouble stopping the Sea Lions after a tough first set.
