Golf Show to hold big clearance sale

-

MANILA, Philippines - The 14th Philippine International Golf Show slated next weekend is expected to give visitors a shopping experience because of the heavily discounted clearance items from the top equipment and apparel distributors.

The giants in the retail business are set to present new arrivals at the Golf Show scheduled Sept. 4-6 at the SM Convention Center and will be offering special discounts on the slighty old models as a way for patrons to beat the crisis.

This year’s special highlight is a hole-in-one competition with the newly launched Kia Soul worth P1 million as a prize.

Using the world’s most accurate and realistic simulator from Urban Golf, an indoor golf lounge in Makati, amateur golfers will take a crack at an ace at a par-3 hole of Spyglass Hill Golf Course in Pebble Beach.

Players landing closest to the pin during the qualifying round on the first two days and until 5 p.m. of Day 3 will advance to the final round on the last day at 7 p.m. Aside from Kia Soul, other prizes include a business class ticket to the US courtesy of Delta and Northwest Airlines.

More than a hundred booths will be filled by GDAP members Acro Industrial Development & Construction Corp., Aetna Enterprises, Besa’s Shoes Inc., Electrobus Consolidated Inc., Gainerís Marketing Corp., GolfPro International Ltd., Great Depot, Kart Plaza, Master Sports Corp., Pacsports Phils. Inc., Raymundo’s Trophies & Sculptures, RMA Trading, Transview Golf Philippines Inc. and WS Sports Inc.
