Looney Tunes run fires off tomorrow

MANILA, Philippines - The Looney Tunes Active Fun Run caps its two-month running events at various schools in the metropolis with the staging of a grand run tomorrow at the SM Mall of Asia grounds in Pasay City with more than 1,000 participants expected to compete.

Events on tap are the 3k, for kids 12-years-old and below, which starts at 7 a.m., and thed 5k for adults firing off at 6 a.m.

Bugs Bunny will fire off the MOA fun run at 6 a.m., the culmination of a series of running events for kids aged 4-12 staged at various schools in the metropolis, including Miriam, Ateneo, Poveda, San Beda-Alabang, La Salle-Zobel, Southville and Reedley International schools.

Prizes await the top three finishers in boys and girls’ categories in the 8-and-below and 9-12 age group categories of the event, a Warner Bros. project staged to promote a healthy and active lifestyle among kids and adults.
