Javier pockets ABC circuit singles plum

MANILA, Philippines - Ronnie Javier of Emerald Vinyl turned in a six-game series of 1229 to bag the Architects Bowling Club’s circuit singles with handicap crown at Paeng’s Bowling Center, Eastwood, Libis, Quezon City last week.

Denis Jalandoon of Sika Phils. finished second with 1201, while Paeng Villanueva of Atlanta Industries rolled 1199 to place third. Sonny Esguerra of Stone 2000 came in fourth with 1193 while Ritz Diaz of Lepanto Tiles made 1188 to finish fifth in the weekly event sponsored by Boysen and Nation Paints.

Meanwhile, action in the event, backed by Crown Pipes, ABC Phils., Supreme Steel Pipes Corp., Pro Active Pest Control, Toto, Philflex Wires and Cables, Hocheng Phils. and Firefly Royu, resumes at 7 tonight with the staging of the all-events 3-man team one-group at the Green Valley lanes in Pasig City.
