-

MANILA, Philippines - Racing action revs up as the 2009 Magnolia Health Tea Philippine Underbone King Championships stages its fourth leg at the challenging Ekart Trak of the Enchanted Kingdom this weekend in Sta. Rosa, Laguna.

The event is the second installment of the 2009 Enchanted Kingdom Motorsports Month, which also features slalom and karting races.

Spicing up the event is the introduction of the 180cc Scooter class and the showdown between top manufacturer brands Suzuki and Honda in this series sanctioned by the National Motorcycle Sports and Safety Association (NAMSSA) and sponsored by San Miguel Corp., Magnolia Health Tea, Aeromed, Inside Racing and Pagcor.

Suzuki’s Paul Mark Doblada seeks another victory to firm up his grip of solo lead as he eyes another 1-2 finish together with teammate Johnlery Enriquez in the 115cc Open and the 115cc Sports Production classes.

Doblada tallies 144 points both in the 115cc Open and 115cc Sports Production classes while Enriquez holds 112 and 116 points, respectively.

Honda riders Herbert Lopez and Bryan Ortile hold 108 and 102 points, respectively, in the 115cc Open class.

Also aiming to gain his share of the spotlight is defending Superbikes champion Maico Buncio of Elf Moto Oil-GS Battery-YRS Racing.
