MANILA, Philippines - A cash prize of P200,000 awaits the grand winner of the first Clear Men Future League, the unique and newest basketball reality program in the country today.
Aside from the bounty prize, the champion also stands a chance to be discovered as the next big star of Philippine basketball.
The pilot episode of the one-hour weekly series aired over C/S9 and Basketball TV and presented by Clear Men starts July 12 after the PBA Games.
In all, the reality sports show will run for 13 weeks.
The winner will come from the 10 teams consisting of six players each that qualified during the grueling provincial tournaments staged nationwide.
All teams are set to compete in a series of skills challenges that will test the players’ talent, teamwork and character.
Their experience will be chronicled during the hour-long program that will not only show the players’ skills on the court but their human side as well.
Basketball heartthrob Chris Tiu is hosting the show along with former cage great Benjie Paras.
Former UAAP courtside reporter Sharon Yu of De La Salle adds glamor to the program as lady co-host of the two cage stars.
