Jalandoon tops ABC singles

MANILA, Philippines – Denis Jalandoon of Sika Phils. sparkled with a six-game series of 1400 to beat Nonoy de Jesus of Philflex Wires and Cables (1307) by 93 pins in the Architects Bowling Club’s singles event one-group in Pasig City last week.

Buddy Segui of Emerald Vinyl rolled 1304, Manny Padit of Philflex Wires and Cables scored 1303 and Ritz Diaz of Stone 2000 had 1296 to finish third, fourth and fifth, respectively, in the weekly event sponsored by Boysen and Nation Paints.

Meanwhile, action in the event, backed by Crown Pipes, Hocheng Phils., ProActive Pest Control, Lepanto Tiles, ABC Phils. and Supreme Steel Pipe Corp., resumes at 7 tonight with the staging of the monthly championship for June, also at the Green Valley lanes.
