Sering elected archery head
MANILA, Philippines - A former executive assistant of the late ex-POC head Gov. Jose Sering was recently elected archery president in accordance with the amended articles and incorporation of the National Archery Association of the Philippines as approved by the Securities and Exchange Commission (SEC).
Mrs. Virginia Sering, a full-time realtor, president of the Soroptimist International of Alabang and member of the Muntinlupa Realtors Board who served as executive assistant in the POC for eight years, was voted NAAP head after the general council meeting, which installed seven board members.
The other board members are Atty. Ruperto Sampoleo, Councilor Renato Bartolome, Adam Jimenez, Siegfredo Velasquez, Ligaya Manalang and Ryan Miranda.
Sampoleo was eventually elected vice president, Bartolome secretary general, Jimenez treasurer and Velasquez auditor.
Jimenez is the son of General Adam Jimenez while Miranda is currently secretary/senior administrative assistant III to Magalang, Pampanga Mayor Romulo Pecson and 1998 Young Achiever Awardee for Public Service in commemoration of the 1998 National Rizal Day Celebration and the Youth and the Children Month.
