Comebacking Archers eye win No. 4 vs Stags

MANILA, Philippines - La Salle tries to come out strong from a long layoff as it collides with San Sebastian today, looking for its fourth straight win in the Filoil Flying V Pre-Season MVP Cup at the Filoil Flying V at the Filoil Flying V Arena in San Juan.

The Archers, who underwent a three-week training in Las Vegas as part of their buildup for the coming UAAP season, last saw action against the Mapua Cardinals last April 24, scoring a 91-69 romp, their third in row.

The Stags, meanwhile, saw their three-game run snap with a 75-81 loss to the Jose Rizal U Heavy Bombers last Friday in Group A.

Gametime is at 3:30 p.m.

Univ. of the Phils., which ended its three-game skid with an 87-63 rout of University of Perpetual Help, takes on St. Benilde (1-4) in the 12 noon game, while Adamson guns for its fourth win in five games in Group A as it battles winless National U at 1:45 p.m.
