MANILA, Philippines – La Salle walloped archrival Ateneo, 72-58, to sweep the first round of elimination in the women’s division of the 15th Fr. Martin Summer Cup at the San Beda Gym.

Adamson trounced University of the East, 67-48, in the only other women’s game while STI smashed Ateneo de Naga, 97-31, and Naga Montessori downed RP Women’s team, 75-71, in juniors’ action.

Guest team Nokia RP Under-16 humbled Informatics B, 71-45, in the only seniors’ duel of the day in this event backed by Molten, www.gameface.com and SMC chief Eduardo Cojuangco Jr.
