Junior Archers show no mercy for St. Jude

MANILA, Philippines – De La Salle-Zobel routed St. Jude, 95-45, to stay in the hunt for a spot in the top four of the TriDharma Mktg. Corp Filipino-Chinese Basketball League second Freego Jeans’ Cup at Buddhacare Gym near Araneta Ave. in QC last Tuesday.

Arnold Vonopstal sizzled with 24 points for the Junior Archers, who notched their fourth win against three losses in the high school cagefest backed by Energen Cereal Energy Drink, Hi-Smart Vitamins and Nutri-C Juice.

La Salle is now tied with Letran and University of Santo Tomas for fourth spot behind Ateneo (7-0), San Beda (6-1) and Jose Rizal University (5-3).

The Junior Archers and the Tiger Cubs collide in a crucial tiff today at 2:30 p.m. in the final day of eliminations of the tournament supported by f’g Revolution Denim, Dickies Underwear, Old Chinatown Koptitiam, Clincher Packaging Tape, Nougat Candy, Colt Commercial, Powerbest Marketing Inc. and Star Galaxy Industrial Fabricator Inc.
