MANILA, Philippines – Boy Tuazon, Sonny Lagon and four others lead the chase for the World Slasher Cup-2 crown when the four-cock finals is held today at the Araneta Coliseum.
Tuazon, from Pateros, (Chika Babe Balasa), Lagon (Super Dave Sa San Lorenzo) with Kenneth Cigar & Son of Hawaii, Nine Dragon (Albert Yam/Cesar Tan); AS JU Akashi (James Uy/Allan Siaco/P.A.); JPA Legal Eagles Aki (Atty. H. Capuchino); and Oregon Tacloban EDL Excellence UCBA-I (Jimmy Y./Ted M./Brad Padgett) posted identical 4-0 wins to head the championship hopefuls in the blue-ribbon event.
Cockfighting action begins at 4 p.m. with more than 80 matches on tap.
Hosted by the Pintakasi of Champions, the World Slasher Cup-2 is organized by the Araneta Center and sponsored by Thunderbird Bexan XP - the potent blood conditioner, and Sagupaan Complexor 3000.
