200 players vie in Summit Point Invitational

MANILA, Philippines - Two hundred players will contest tournament and raffle prizes totaling more than P2 million in the 2009 Summit Point Invitational set to be played tomorrow in Lipa, Batangas.

A subdivision lot and a Hyundai i10 together with a 42-inch LCD television are the main prizes at stake in the 18-hole event presented by joint venture partners Summit Point Realty & Dev’t, Inc. and Sta. Lucia Realty & Dev’t, Inc.

The Rio de Oro prime property in Gen. Trias, Cavite, the Hyundai i10 and big TV and a P100,000 cash prize from New Canaan Insurance serve as hole-in-one prizes at Summit’s par-3 holes.

One of the 100 teams entered will be going home with a Hyundai i10 and a 42-inch LCD television, which make up the grand raffle package.

Other sponsors of the tourney are Lemans, Inc., Aquadyne, Electrobus/Callaway, Exotik Restaurant, Hyundai, WGC Golf, Leisure Max, J&W Golflinks, Inc., LG Appliances, Turf Co., Rizgolf, Smart Infinity, RS Night Hawk Security and Ram General Services.

Summit Point president Robbie Leviste and project director Engr. Wini Gob will join members and guests in the competition which will have two shotgun starts, the first at 6 a.m. and another at 12 noon.

Participants will be entitled to Callaway gift certificates worth P3,000 not to mention the other perks offered by organizers.
