Warriors gun for last semis berth vs Wizards

-

MANILA, Philippines – Cobra guns for the fourth and last semis berth as it battles Magnolia today in Game 2 of their quarterfinal series in the PBL PG Flex Unity Cup at the San Juan gym.

The Energy Warriors, behind Paul Lee, outgunned the Wizards, 74-67, last Saturday and need only to score a repeat in their 3 p.m. game to join Oracles, Licealiz and Pharex in the next round. The match will be aired on Basketball TV (Sky Cable-149).

“We know they (Wizards) will make some adjustments, so we have to prepare just like what we did prior to Game 1,” said coach Neil Parado.

Aside from Lee, Cobra hopes to draw solid games from James Martinez and Patrick Canahug who finished with 11 and 10 points, the first time out.
