Batang TnT-Quezon City enters semifinal

MANILA, Philippines - Two-time champion Batang Talk N’ Text-Quezon City plastered Batang Rain or Shine-San Juan, 74-56, in Group A of the Batang PBA basketball tournament Friday.

Michael Nieto scored 25 points and twin brother Matthew added 12 as the defending champion Texters of head coach Mark Herrera swept their group elimination and secured their place in the cross-over semifinals.

“We hope we will achieve the grand slam this year. The boys have been working hard for this. They have matured from the first year I have handled them. I am thankful to the parents who have been supporting our team from the very beginning,” said Herrera, also the head coach for the RP Youth U-13 team.
