Jungolf resumes at Cangolf

MANILA, Philippines - The Diamond Motors-Jungolf Summer Circuit resumes today with the staging of the fifth leg set at the north course of the Canlubang Golf and Country Club in Canlubang, Laguna.

At least 60 juniors are confirmed to see action in the 54-hole event which follows the Philippine qualifier for the Callaway Junior World championships at Manila Southwoods and Sherwood Hills.

Heading the field are club bet Rupert Zaragosa and Andie Unson who were among the 36 Junior World qualifiers.

The Jungolf summer circuit is also sponsored by Philippine Airlines, Unilever, Ottica Corp., Fury, Aces Agri Manufacturing, Club Marinduque, Goin Straight, Powerade, Coca-Cola, Callaway, Electrobus Consolidated and Golf Depot.

Most of the jungolf top guns have decided to rest as they prepare for their participation in the Asia-Pacific junior championships two weeks from now in Bangkok, Thailand.
