Domingo keys AUTS kart sweep

MANILA, Philippines – AUTS Racing put up another dominating feat pulling a 1-2-3-4 finish in the Formula SL Expert class recently in the second leg of the 2009 Magnolia Super Karting Series at the Batangas Racing Circuit.

Bobby Domingo again rose to the occasion pulling a big dive on the final lap to power the big victory for AUTS Racing backed up by Pepsi-Cola Products Philippines, Inc. – Gatorade, Kiplings, Birel Racing Karts, Yamaha Winforce, Kart Care Lubricants, Freeline, GoKartGlobal.com, AUTS International, Hoddies Jackets and Eats Amore.

Indy Villalon appeared headed for second consecutive win when he led most of the race until Domingo, then running third, went for a decisive move at the final turn going to the finish line to clinch the win.

Joseph Castelar made it second while Villalon and Joel Caniza followed behind for AUTS Racing to claim the four of the five podium finishes in the Formula SL Expert class aboard Birel quality performance karts.

Domingo also gave an all-out performance as he managed to clinch a third place finish in the ROK Overall class despite getting involved in a pile-up during the race.

AUTS driver AV Rubio also bagged third place honors in the Formula SL Heavy.
