RP U-13 joins Fil-Oil MVP Jr Cup

MANILA, Philippines - The RP Youth Under-13 of head coach Mark Herrera is joining the Fil-Oil Flying V MVP Juniors Cup as part of its continuing preparation for international competitions.

The national youth players make their debut in the pre-season tournament against Lourdes School of Mandaluyong on Thursday.

The U-13 team, which won two games in a three-game goodwill series recently in Singapore, is also competing as guest team in the Jr. PBA tournament set to start April 29.

 “These competitions will certainly help the team in its preparation for the American Youth Basketball Association in July,” said Herrera, incoming coach of the UE Junior Warriors in the UAAP.
