Jr. Warriors hone up for UAAP; tryouts on

MANILA, Philippines - The University of the East Jr. Warriors (formerly UE Pages) upended the District IV players of Lemery, Batangas, 68-58, over the weekend in a tune-up game for the forthcoming UAAP basketball season.

“The boys are doing well, I am confident they will be able to face the challenges in the UAAP. They have been winning their games against the much bigger and more experienced players,” said coach Mark Herrera, also the head coach of the RP Youth 13-under and back-to-back Jr. PBA champion team Talk ‘n Text-QC.

Tryouts for players who wish to join the UE Jr. Warriors are held every Monday, Wednesday and Friday, 1-4 p.m. at the UERM Gym, Ramon Magsaysay, Sta. Mesa, Manila.
