Wack Wack West hosts Larry's Cup

MANILA, Philippines – The fourth Larry’s Cup, a fund-raising event held in honor of Transportation and Communications Secretary and National Golf Association of the Philippines president Leandro Mendoza, will be held Tuesday at Wack Wack’s West Course.

A banner field of players from the business, private and government sectors will see action in the 18-hole tournament staged for the benefit of the Ramendo Livelihood and Education Foundation, Inc

Tee-off time is 6 a.m. with Sec. Mendoza and other guests hitting the ceremonial drive to kick off the event, presented by Stradcom Corp. with San Miguel Corp. and Aboitiz as co-presentors.

Tournament and raffle prizes are staked in the event, according to tournament chairman Rep. Mark Leandro Mendoza.

Dinner and awarding ceremonies will be held at 6:30 p.m. at the Shaw Pavilion of Wack Wack.

Backing up the event are Amalgamated Motors Phils, FF Cruz, E.M. Cuerpo, Philippine Airlines, Gruppo Armani, Asia Cargo Container Line, CATS, Ford EDSA-Greenhills, Sumitomo, AVIS Rent-a-Car, Kart Plaza-Yamaha Golf Cart; Club Car Golf Cart, Herma Shipping, Aboitiz, Spirit of Manila, Jamecca Insurance Agents Inc., Sybase, 7107 Islands Cruise, 3W Builders, Teddie Construction, AMA Group of Companies, North Star, Joncy Transit, Alecon Corp, Boyet Maralit, and Santrans Corp.

Hole-in-one prizes include a brand-new Mercedes-Benz, a Ford Focus and Yamaha and Club Car carts. PAL tickets and merchandise prizes will be raffled off.
