Phoenix Cup at Palos

MANILA, Philippines - The first Phoenix Cup open golf tournament, organized by Phoenix Petroleum Philippines, Inc., will tee off today at the Rancho Palos Verdes in Davao City as part of the Araw ng Dabaw celebration.

Some 200 golfers are expected to play in the one-day tournament set on a systems 36 format.

The Phoenix Cup is held for the benefit of programs and charities supported by Phoenix Philippines Foundation, Inc.
