Ice skating up in Scoop

MANILA, Philippines - Ice skating, athletics and volleyball take the center stage in today’s Scoop Sa Kamayan session at the Kamayan Restaurant-Padre Faura in Malate, Manila.

Members of the Philippine Skating Union board, headed by president Ric Camaligan, heads the roster of guests in the forum, sponsored by Accel. He will discuss the bid to send Filipino skaters in the next Winter Olympics.

Also gracing the forum are members of the national track and field team vying for slots in this year’s SEA Games in Laos, headed by 2007 SEAG gold medalists Henry Dagmil and Maristela Torres.
