Birel gives AUTS Racing big finish in karting super series

MANILA, Philippines - AUTS Racing started the season strong, thanks to the high quality performance of Birel karts that steered its impressive finishes behind team captain Indy Villalon in the kickoff of the 2009 Philippine Karting Super Series at the Carmona Circuit Philippines.

 It was Domingo’s second straight triumph after winning Round 1 of the 2009 Pagcor Sports KF2-KF3 Series last month. But he went through rough sailing this time, starting 10th on the grid after a mishap relegated him to the tailend of the 15-man field.

With determination and nerves of steel, Domingo amazingly made a big start that saw him pass all nine karters in front of him to wrest the lead on the first lap of the final heat.
