Boysen paces ABC doubles

-

MANILA, Philippines - Jerry Cham and Loret Talabucon of Boysen Paints combined for 1625 pinfalls to top Group I while Violy Magsakay and Tony Naval of Ragojos Heritage Const. captured the Group 2 plum with a 440 in the Architects Bowling Club’s all-events doubles at the Green Valley Bowling Lanes in Pasig City last week.

Joan Mendoza and Dante Manglicmot of Emerald Vinyl scored 1616 while the Paeng Villanueva and Ronnie Javier tandem of Lepanto Tiles had 1545 to finish second and third, respectively, in Group I in the weekly event sponsored by Boysen and Nation Paints.

Ric Poblete and Ryan Jalandoon of Sika Phils. rolled 1369 while Eugene Panaguiton and Edwin Laguitan of ABC Phils. settled for second and third, respectively, in Group 2.

Meanwhile, ABC president Romi de Jesus is inviting all licensed architects to join the event held every Tuesday as ABC prepares for its 32nd anniversary with a month-long tournament and club outing in Hong Kong in May.

Action in the event, backed by Crown Pipes, Philflex Wires and Cables, Hocheng Phils., Pro Active Pest Control, Pacific World Bldg. Mgmt., Felport Mktg. and Supreme Steel Pipes Corp., resumes at 7 tonight with the resumption of all-events doubles, also at the Green Valley lanes.
