Bombers gain last Martin Cup semis slot

MANILA, Philippines - Jose Rizal A edged Adamson, 62-61, to clinch the last semifinal berth in the fourth Fr. Martin Collegiate Open Cup at the San Beda gym over the weekend.

The Bombers’ first team thus joined their second team in the crossover semis where they will face the San Sebastian Stags and the Far Eastern University Tams, who swept their way into the semis, respectively.

In the other result, St. Benilde trounced St. Clare, 67-60, while Ateneo and FEU won over Informatics and Letran via forfeiture, respectively, in the event backed by Magnolia Beverages, Molten, Basketbolista and www.gameface.ph.
