Talabucon, Del Rosario triumph in ABC bowling

MANILA, Philippines - Loret Talabucon of Sika Phils. rolled a six-game series of 1229 to capture the Group I crown while Malou del Rosario of Boysen Paints topped Group 2 with 1057 in the Architects Bowling Club’s monthly championships at the Green Valley Bowling Lanes in Pasig City last week.

Ritz Diaz of Firefly Lightings scored 1162, Romy de Jesus of Philflex Wires and Cables made 1156 and Bibs Luzande of Lepanto Tiles had 1149 to finish second, third and fourth, respectively, in Group I in the weekly event sponsored by Boysen and Nation Paints.

Tony Naval (1046) of Emerald Vinyl, Edwin Laguitan (996) of ABC Phils. and Violy Magsakay (983) of Ragojos Heritage Const. to place second, third and fourth, respectively, in Group 2.

Meanwhile, action in the event, backed by Crown Pipes, Hocheng Phils., Pro Active Pest Control, Pacific World Bldg. Mngmt., Felport Mktg. and Supreme Steel Pipes Corp., resumes at 7 tonight with the staging of all-events doubles, also at the Green Valley lanes.
