MANILA, Philippines - The Paa-Bilisan 10-K road race series will be held March 1 at 6 a.m. along 8th Avenue near the NBC Tent at the Fort Global City in Taguig.
The event, sanctioned by the Philippine Amateur Track and Field Association, will feature a 10K and 5K run around the venue.
Cash prizes, trophies and medals await the top finishers. Additional cash prize will also be awarded to the the runner who breaks the course record of 32 minutes, 32 seconds. The first male and female runner to break the RP 10K record will get a bonus of P25,000.
Interested participants can register at the Botak Sports Shop at 131 Kamuning Road corner EDSA in Quezon City. Registration forms can also be submitted at the JAPA Building 2256, Chino Roces Ave. in Makati City and at the Fitness First branch at The Fort.
Participants will be issued race packets along with a Botak running singlet upon registration.
The quarterly event by Botak is organized by Olympus and presented by Gatorade and made possible by Fitness First, DOLE, PLDT, SME, Hewlett Packard, Timex, Polar Heart rate monitor, Sports Line heart rate monitor and the Philippine Sports Commission.
