Magsakay romps with Architects Bowling Club singles title

MANILA, Philippines - Violy Magsakay of Ragojos Heritage Constructions flashed fine form and fired a 12-game series of 2584 to rule the Architects Bowling Club’s singles one group at the Green Valley Bowling Lanes in Pasig City last week.

Hermie Prudente of Lepanto Tiles scored the third perfect game of 300 in 32 years and placed second with a 2525 while Loret Talabucon finished third with a 2468 in the weekly event sponsored by Boysen and Nation Paints.

Buddy Segui of ABC Phils. scored 2452 while Nonoy de Jesus of Philflex Wires and Cables had 2442 to place fourth and fifth, respectively.

Meanwhile, this year’s sponsors for perfect game are Sika Phils., Crown Pipes, Philflex Wires and Cables and Supreme Steel Pipes Corp. Romi de Jesus made it to the elite Philflex 250 club.

Action in the event, backed by Supreme Steel Pipes Corp., Felport Mktg., DN Steel, Firefly Lightings, Pacific World Bldg. Mngmt., Pro Active Pest Control, Hocheng Phils. Crown Pipes and Emerald Vinyl Corp., resumes at 7 tonight with the staging of the monthly championship, also at the Green Valley lanes.
